1.7 Before you start: What's been added or changed recently in this resource
This resource is still in development and you can expect to keep seeing more changes.
Here are the main changes we have made recently.
May 2008:
We made some changes to the layout, following comments from users.
We have simplified the models of IP, grouping them into three main models of IP.
We have added 'hot tips' in several sections:
- first steps: hot tips
- involving people: hot tips
- the process: hot tips
- promoting IP: hot tips
- making IPs accessible
- promoting IP to users
We have added some new checklists.
early June 2008:
We have extended the section on accessibility
There's a completely new section, Promoting IP
We have added some new pages to other sections:
- A glossary of terms has been added
- A page of 'frequently asked questions'
- A new page with resources on ethics.
We have also added new text to some pages:
- There is new text on the 'three questions' page
- and on the First Steps: planning page
Links to relevant DH policy and background documents have been added.
Late June/early July
We have made extensive changes to the layout in order to address website accessibility issues.
We have added illustrative quotes from service users, and updated templates from some of the pilot sites.
We've added a new section on training and support.
Late July
A new page has been added on sustaining and extending IP.
The 'go back to previous page' links at the top and bottom of each page now take you to the previous page in the resource, rather than to the page you last had open (for which you can use your back button instead).
This is the last page of section 1 of this resource. In the next section we will look at how organisations can take the first steps in setting up the process of information prescribing.
