1.3 Before you start: National programmes linked to information prescriptions

Here is a list of the various national programmes that have links to IPs. We have split these into 12 links below. Each of these links opens a Word document that provides information about the national policies and guidance driving the current improvements to health and social care services. Each document contains further links to web pages on relevant websites.

Many of these programmes have developed comprehensive resources to support local implementation and delivery of national health and social care improvement priorities and these resources have been designed to support:

• statutory and non-statutory organisations
• local champions seeking endorsement and buy in from their host organisations
• commissioners looking to develop and commission integrated care pathways and co-ordinated packages of care that provide more patient centred services to their local communities.
